This morning after I got the girls' hair fixed, Kirsten and Shanna played dress up. Haley didn't want to dress up or have her hair fixed.
We had a Valentine's party for preschool with our friends. We made Valentine baskets to hold our valentine's, gave valentine's to everyone, decorated heart cookies, ate pink popcorn, read valentine books and played.
After lunch I took the girls outside to take some pictures of our daffodils and forsythia bush that are blooming. It looks as if spring has come a bit early this year.
This afternoon the girls took naps. I mopped the floor and folded another load of laundry. Jon and Rebecca came home from school, ate some heart cookies and did homework. I taught piano and the kids played outside. Shanna loved my students today. She was giving all the big girls hugs and having lots of fun with them. Haley let one of the girls take her outside to play, but she was much more reserved with everyone.
Tonight Mike had scouts. Jon and Rebecca got valentines ready for their classmates. We had fun saying "hi" to Ruth on the webcam. Then the kids went to bed. Alyssa can get up on all fours now. Yesterday she started saying "da, da, da, da," when Mike walked in after work. My little baby is growing up!

So many fun things to do. You've inspired me to try more fun things with Kristine. Because she's the only one home, she often gets shuttled to the side or just dragged along for the big people stuff. Thanks for all the great ideas of things to do day to day.
